Choosing The Right Windows for your Home
There are several different options when it comes to choosing new windows for your home, making what you thought would be an easy decision slightly more complicated. Here at Maybank Solutions we offer three main types of window – Tilt and Turn, Sliding Sash and Casement. All of our windows are available with a variety of glass, frame and handle styles.
Tilt and Turn windows
Our UPVC and aluminium Tilt and Turn windows are an innovative way for air to flow around your home. Tilt and Turn windows open similarly to a top or side hung window but the frame also tilts inwards.
The inward tilting frame not only makes cleaning a breeze but also means windows can be left open without compromising security. When opened fully, our Tilt and Turn windows can be used as a fire escape, giving you extra peace of mind.
Furthermore, Tilt and Turn windows can be integrated into bay or bow style windows so if this is your preferred style you don’t need to compromise.
Sliding Sash windows
Sliding Sash windows are the perfect solutions for period homes or homes in conservation areas. These windows add lovely traditional charm to your home and will fit right into to a period home. Our Sliding Sash windows have moved on from the wooden windows of the 19th century and are now made from UPVC and aluminium.
These windows open vertically instead of outward and allow you to fully control how much air flows around your home. Our windows have insulating frames and energy efficient glass keeping the warmth in and draughts out.
Here at Maybank Solutions security is paramount, all of our windows come with effective locks and Secured by Design accreditations are available on request.
Casement windows are one of the most popular window styles in the UK, with casement windows there are lots of customisation options. Firstly you have the choice of top or side hung, patterned or plain glass, leaded or Georgian bars and double or triple glazing. These windows are durable so there is no need to worry about warping, plus with regular cleaning these windows can really boost your kerb appeal, leaving your home looking fresh and modern.
